Art3_Chino_FY17_BikePed_Facilities_09_City Response wProj Info_231115Good morning, Thank you for your response regarding the City of Chino's request for an extension to the two current TDA awards. We were unaware that the responses to SBCTA's request for further information pertaining to these awards had not been submitted yet. Please see below for the responses to your inquiry: 1. FY 2013/2014 Transit Stop Access, $127,648 for the Riverside Drive Sidewalk Rehabilitation Project - This one has already been submitted & resolved. 2. FY 2017/2018 Bike/Ped Facilities for $353,081 ($81,408 dispersed to-date):       2.a. This question is difficult to verify since the original City staff involved in submitting the application are no longer with the City to explain the inconsistencies within the original application. After review, we believe that the "Class I" was an error and the intent was "Class III," which would be consistent with what was actually completed.       2.b.i. I have attached a copy of the executed contract Number 2021-202. This is a reimbursement agreement with the Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) who took the lead on the construction portion of the project, and which the City reimburses CVUSD back for the work.       2.b.ii. The total contract amount is $1,541,291.77 and expenditures to-date are $1,229,203.96. I attached a snip from the City's financial system reflecting expenditures from reimbursement invoices to CVUSD.       2b.iii. I spoke with the City's project manager on this project and he stated that the work has been completed; however, the City is still coordinating with CVUSD and waiting on final invoices from the district to close out the City's portion of the work; therefore, the City is unable to submit the reimbursement by 12/31/2023 pending CVUSD. 3. FY 2017/2018 Transit Access Sidewalk Retrofitting for $87,000:       3.a. This contract is the same as number 2b.i. - the reimbursement agreement with CVUSD. Revisions to the scope of work for both TDA grants were made for this project.       3.b. This answer is the same as number 2.b.ii.       3.c. This answer is the same as 2.b.iii. In regards to the inconsistencies in the original application (2.a.), are you available to meet via Teams or Zoom to discuss the next steps and what the process would be for the City? Our director, Hye Jin Lee, would like to know if you are available this week or next week before the holidays. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
