In Fiscal Year 2013/14, the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Board of Directors approved grant awards from the Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 Transit Access Program. The project was awarded $34,950 for 10 bus stop improvements. Also, in Fiscal Year 2017/18, the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Board of Directors approved grant awards from the Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 Transit Access Program. This project was awarded $50,085 for the Redlands Bus Stop Landing Renovations project. SBCTA concurs with the request to combine the awards into one award for $85,035 and to extend the period of time to complete the projects. The revised project completion date is December 31, 2019. As a friendly reminder, the TDA Article 3 grant award is paid through a reimbursement process upon completion of the project. It is required that a TDA claim form and supporting documentation of project completion are submitted to SBCTA prior to disbursement of funds to Omnitrans. The TDA Article 3 grant award is for a maximum reimbursable amount. Should your project exceed the maximum reimbursable amount, SBCTA will not provide any additional reimbursement. For projects completed under the awarded amount, SBCTA will reimburse your agency for the TDA Article 3 share of the project using the match percentage identified in your grant applications. When your project is complete please contact Nancy Strickert, Transportation Programming Analyst, at SBCTA for the TDA Claim Form and filing instructions. Nancy can be reached at (909) 884-8276 or nstrickert@gosbcta.com. Should you need additional information regarding this matter, please contact Cameron Brown, Senior Planner, at (909) 884-8276 or cbrown@gosbcta.com.
