Palm Ave Rialto, CA 92376 RE: FY2017/2018 Cedar Ave Railroad Crossing Ped Improvements Award – Extension Dear Ms. Corona: This letter serves as an official response to email communications in August 2020 granting the City of Rialto a deadline extension to complete the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Board of Directors approved Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 grant funded project as outlined below. Project Type Bicycle/Pedestrian Allocation Number L18-0702-0747-00 Project Description Cedar Ave Railroad Crossing Ped Improvements TDA Article 3 Award $250,000 Local Match $428,000 Local Share 63.13% ATP Share (if applicable) NA Total Project Cost $678,000 Original Deadline 10/04/2019 Revised Deadline 10/04/2021 Extension Number* 2 *As long as the project is progressing, SBCTA staff has the authority to grant two one year extensions. Additional extension(s) must be approved by the SBCTA Board. As a friendly reminder, there is currently a 10% retention hold on this project. Once the project is complete, please submit a reimbursement claim for the balance along with: 1. Photos of the completed project and 2. A certified copy of a city council minute action item that both verifies project completion and authorizes filing of the final claim. Sample language is available upon request. The TDA Article 3 grant award is for a maximum reimbursable amount. Should your project exceed the maximum reimbursable amount, SBCTA will not provide any additional reimbursement. For projects completed under the awarded amount, SBCTA will reimburse your agency for the TDA Article 3 share of the project using the match percentage identified above and in your grant application.
