Art3_Redlands_FY13_BikePed_OBTIII_Com_190220_CLOSEDHi Ross,
Thank you for taking the time to discuss the TDA Article 3 award for Orange Blossom Trail Phase III. To summarize our conversation on the phone earlier today, we have confirmed that
there is a grant extension for this project dated October 10, 2017 which extended the deadline to December 31, 2018. Due to this and the continued project development this project
should not be faced with rescission of funding. In fact, this came down to an error on our part in not applying the extended date towards the project. I apologize for the confusion
this may have caused.
Also to clarify on the funding available, we discussed that there is a similar project that has now been completed by the city named “Orange Blossom Trail”, and this should not be confused
with “Orange Blossom Trail Phase III”. It appears that we mistakenly reimbursed you for “Orange Blossom Trail” from the Phase III project which made it appear that there is now less
money for Phase III project.
The revised totals should be a balance of $820,647.78 for the Phase III project based off the last reimbursement of $193,454.83 which we are now moving toward the original “Orange Blossom
Trail” project. The “Orange Blossom Trail” award should now be closed.
Currently, we have the following projects under development with the following allocations:
· Orange Blossom Trail Project Phase III – $820,647.78
· 10 Bus Stop Location Improvements - $34,950
· Redlands Sidewalk Maintenance Project - $100,000
· Redlands PIPP Implementation - $161,214
· East Valley Corridor Bike Route Interconnect Project – 264,401
· Relands Bus Stop Landing Renovations - $50,085
· TDA Access Improvement Project - $85,035
Please let me know if you have any questions.
