Box 10000 Big Bear Lake, CA 92315 RE: 2015/2016 (S-1606-31) and 2017/2018 (L18-0702-0733-00) Stanfield Cutoff Awards – Scope Change Dear Mr. Harris: This letter serves as a response to the City of Big Bear Lake’s July 23, 2020 request for a scope modification to the City’s Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 awarded Stanfield Cutoff Connectivity Project. SBCTA concurs with the scope change proposed as summarized in the table below and recognizes the need to make these modifications in order to accommodate unanticipated environmental restrictions. Additionally, SBCTA is extending the deadline to account for time spent developing a solution for these unexpected hurtles. BBMWD committed funding for guardrail east of existing guardrail, and 3 fishing piers along the path. shifting lanes slightly east. Further extension must be approved by the SBCTA Board. As a friendly reminder, the TDA Article 3 grant award is paid through a reimbursement process upon project completion or through progress payments for awards over $200,000. It is required that a TDA claim form and supporting documentation of project completion or progress are submitted to SBCTA prior to disbursement of funds. The TDA Article 3 grant award is for a maximum reimbursable amount. Should your project exceed the maximum reimbursable amount, SBCTA will not provide any additional reimbursement. For projects completed under the awarded amount, SBCTA will reimburse your agency for the TDA Article 3 share of the project using the match percentage identified above and in your grant application.
