Good Morning Lisa,
Please see my responses below. The City of Victorville is pleased to inform you the construction of the two TDA Article 3 projects were completed last calendar
year. The sidewalk project on Village Dr was included in a contract along with some other City projects to save on construction costs. While Village Drive was
completed last year, the other projects that were included in the contract were just completed last month. As a result, the work has not been accepted as
complete yet by the City Council, but should be next month. The expenses reported are the final amounts expensed on the construction contracts. These
amounts to do not include other expenses incurred by the City such as PS&E, construction management and geotechnical consultant services during
construction. The City notified SBCTA of the completion of and submitted the grant funding claim for Old Town Sidewalk Connectivity Phase 2 several months
ago. The notification of project completion and grant funding reimbursement claim for Village Drive Sidewalk is pending submission following the acceptance
of the project by the City Council. If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
Thank You,

On May 3, 2023, the SBCTA Board approved changes to the program that now require annual Progress Reports. We hope this will help us get ahead of any potential
issues and limit the number of times we need to go to the Board with scope change and extension requests. In addition to the progress reporting requirement, awardees
must also demonstrate expenditure of some funds within ONE year of award notification and, for construction contracts, a contract must be awarded within THREE
years of award notification. We expect there to be some leniency for existing awards, particularly with the one year expenditure rule. If funds have not yet been spent,
please provide a brief project schedule showing how the City intends to complete the project by the deadline.
For more information please see: Agenda - Wednesday, May 3, 2023 (gosbcta.com) or feel free to reach out to me directly with questions.
Thank you,
