Thanks for your email. I was trying to dig through documents and old emails, but I wasn’t able to find the TDA expenditures for the annual report for 2025. Do
you know if that came from me or was it from someone in our Finance team? If I sent those amounts, I’m sorry; I believe they’re mistaken.
Last year’s estimated costs would be zero. We only executed a PO this year (January 2026) for the benches, and you can see the amounts for the different
cities on the last 5 lines of the attached PO. These match what was sent in this year’s update. We did also award a contract this year for the shelters, but we
have not paid anything yet as they are still being manufactured. So the estimated amount spent would only be for the benches. In this next year, we will be
paying for the shelters.
Please let me know if you know where the estimated amounts came from for last year. But again, the only expenses we’ve actually paid are the bench amounts
as shown in the PO. We just paid this out last month.
I’d also be happy to jump on a call if needed to sort this out. Thanks for your help, Lisa!

Please see the attached spreadsheet for our update on Article 3. In general, we’ve received all the benches and are working to install them. The shelters are
currently being manufactured. We should be able to get the shelters installed by the deadline, but we are still waiting for the production schedule from the
manufacturer. Once I have that, I’ll have a better sense if we can meet the deadline or not. At that point, could we discuss the potential of an extension if it’s
needed? It would likely be to install the final shelters we’re receiving.
Please let me know if you have any questions on the update and the question about the deadline.

On May 3, 2023, the SBCTA Board approved changes to the program that now require annual Progress Reports. We hope this will help us get ahead of any
potential issues and limit the number of times we need to go to the Board with scope change and extension requests. In addition to the progress reporting
requirement, awardees must also demonstrate expenditure of some funds within ONE year of award notification and, for construction contracts, a contract
must be awarded within THREE years of award notification. We expect there to be some leniency for existing awards, particularly with the one year expenditure
rule. If funds have not yet been spent, please provide a brief project schedule showing how the City intends to complete the project by the deadline.
