(5 points) Although there is no collision data available near the project area, the proposed project will increase walkability to and from the high school. The proposed project will connect to existing pedestrian facilities to encourage safe and healthy commute for students as well as community members. 14.B. Upload 5-years' worth of the most recent collision data available from the UC Berkeley's Transportation Injury Mapping System. 15. Explain the multimodal or transit system connectivity provided by this project. (5 points) The Morongo Basin Transit Authority has a Yucca South bus route that runs through the project area. Although there is no designated bus stop area, residents can wave down the bus to be picked up. 16. Attach other supporting documentation in a single .pdf. (5 points) The proposed project is a continuation of a previous Safe Routes to School project that required community input on the need to install sidewalks along See Attachment A See Attachment B 2.6pts: Those that assigned a lower score on this were questioning why the number of students wasn't mentioned. 3.2pts: The addition of expressed concern for safety from the community may have helped. 1.8pts: Very limited multimodal connectivity. 1.8pts: The bus route map did not provide additional useful information. Site photos as recommended in the application would have been more helpful, as would have exhibits SBCTA created for the Cycle 7 ATP application. 2.8pts: Response does not address project readiness. Onaga Trail. The purpose of the project is to improve the connectivity of pedestrian facilities to enhance pedestrian safety to and from the high school. 18. Has the agency delivered past projects on schedule as originally scoped? (5 points) Yes, communication with the utility companies and residents regarding the construction project is key. Ensuring proper documentation is retained for environmental requirements the project may need will be vital in keeping the project om schedule. 19. What provisions does the agency have in place to ensure the facility will be properly maintained? (5 points) Town Ordinance No. 200 enacts California Streets and Highway Code Sections 5600 that states owners of lots or portion of lots fronting any portion of a public street, shall maintain the sidewalk in such condition that it will not endanger persons or property or interfere with the public convenience. SBCTA Project Delivery assessment was of the opinion that this should have scored 12pts.
