Purpose 1)Colton:VALLEY @ 4TH EB FS; Route 1; 5.9 daily ons&offs;45 daily buses;
Shelter-$20,000
•Installation of a shelter will improve the waiting environment at the bus stop for
riders accessing retail,a pharmacy,and housing in the area surrounding the stop,
by providing seating and shade and making it more comfortable for users to use the
stop in inclement weather.Omnitrans recently completed ADA improvements at this
location with funds from the 2017 round of Article 3,which will allow installation of a
shelter.
2)Ontario: FRANCIS @ BAKER WB FS; Route 87; 5.6 daily ons&offs; 17 daily
buses; Bench-$800
•The purchase of a bench will help this location by creating a more comfortable
place for riders waiting for the bus.This stop is located near several warehouses,
logistics offices and other workplaces(including RSD Refrigeration,Western States
Building Material Yarx and US Logistics).A bench at this location will offer workers
in the area a place to rest as they wait as well as improve stop visibility.
3)Highland: PALM @ CYPRESS NB FS; Route 15;5.6 daily ons&offs; 17 daily
buses; Bench-$800
•Installation of a bench will improve the waiting environment by providing seating at
the bus stop for riders accessing the retail, restaurant,and housing in the area
immediately surrounding the stop.

riders waiting for the bus.This stop is located near residential neighborhoods within

transit experience by offering riders a place to rest in the shade and out of the rain
for their bus and improve stop visibility.

•The purchase of a bench will help this location by improving the experience of
riders waiting for the bus. Riders at this location have access to the California Fish&
Game department,various hotels, restaurants and office spaces.Additionally,the
Toyota Arena is 0.5-mile away from this stop.A bench would provide a place to rest
for riders in the area.

Article 3 funds, which are expected to be completed in July 2023.
Omnitrans completed the purchase and installation of shelters, benches,
and trash cans funded by 2019 Article 3. Omnitrans has a purchase in
process for shelters, benches, and trash cans, funded by 2021 Article 3
funds, which are expected to be installed by early 2024.
