Purpose 1)Colton:VALLEY @ RANCHO WB FS Route 1; 15.8 daily ons&offs;47 daily
buses; Shelter-$20,000
•Installation of a shelter will improve the waiting environment at the bus stop for
riders accessing retail, restaurants,and housing in the area surrounding the stop, by
providing seating and shade and making it more comfortable for users to use the
stop in inclement weather.Omnitrans recently completed ADA improvements at this
location with funds from the 2017 round of Article 3,which will allow installation of a
shelter.
2)Redlands: ORANGE @ BROCKTON SB FS; Routes 8&15; 15.5 daily ons&
offs;34 daily buses;Shelter-$20,000
•Installation of a shelter will improve the waiting environment at the bus stop for
riders transferring to Route 15 or accessing the nearby retail, businesses,and
housing, by providing seating and shade and making it more comfortable for users
to use the stop in inclement weather.
3)Ontario: EUCLID @ RIVERSIDE NB FS; Route 83; 15.1 daily ons&offs;24 daily
buses; Bench-$800
•The purchase of a bench will help this location by improving the experience of
riders waiting for the bus.This stop is located near a residential neighborhood north,
west,and east of the stop location.Around the stop is a shopping area including
Home Depot, Dollar Tree,and O'Reilly's Auto Parts.A bench at this location will
enhance the public transit experience by offering riders a place to rest as they wait
for their bus and improve stop visibility.

stop. Riders can also access the Kaiser Permanente Office in Ontario 0.5-mile away
from the stop. In addition,this stop provides service to numerous residents living
within a .5-mile distance south,west and east of this stop location.Omnitrans will
install the shelter once the City of Ontario completes construction of improvements
to enlarge the concrete boarding area at this location,for which the City is applying
in this round of Article 3 funding.

Article 3 funds, which are expected to be completed in July 2023.
Omnitrans completed the purchase and installation of shelters, benches,
and trash cans funded by 2019 Article 3. Omnitrans has a purchase in
process for shelters, benches, and trash cans, funded by 2021 Article 3
funds, which are expected to be installed by early 2024.
