Project Need & Project Description
Purpose The purpose of this project is to upgrade the amenities at ten Omnitrans bus stops in
Grand Terrace, Rialto, Loma Linda, Redlands, and Montclair. The project would add
benches and shelters to stops based on space available and rider demand. This
improvement would make the stop more accessible for disabled or elderly
passengers, as well as passengers who need a place to sit while they wait for the

The ten stops see a total of 199 buses per day, with 15 boardings and alightings per
day. The stops include connections to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Crafton
Hills College, San Bernardino Transit Center, and sbX service. These bus stop
locations are noted in Omnitrans' accessibility survey as needing ADA compliance
improvements
