1/3 TDA Article 3 Grant Application: Transit Stop Access Improvements Project Title Omnitrans Amenities Application 2 Contact Name Maurice Mansion Agency Omnitrans Contact Phone (909)379-7169 Contact Email Maurice.mansion@omnitrans.org Project Need & Project Description Purpose The purpose of this project is to upgrade the amenities at ten Omnitrans bus stops in Colton, Montclair, Redlands, and Loma Linda. The ten stops see a total of 260 buses per day, with 33 boardings and alightings per day. The stops include connections to Montclair Transit Center, Fontana Metrolink Transit Center, and Chaffey College Transit Center. These bus stop locations are noted in Omnitrans' accessibility survey as needing ADA compliance improvements. Major landmarks served by the stops include the Montclair Hospital Medical Center, Montclair High School, Rialto City Park, Howard Elementary School, Lehigh Elementary School, and the Esri office complex. • Bus stop#6904, Redlands Blvd. at Anderson St., westbound, near side, Loma Linda, CA • Bus stop#6435, San Bernardino St. at Monte Vista Ave., westbound, near side, Montclair, CA • Bus stop#5802, Holt Blvd. between Monte Vista Ave. and Central Ave, eastbound, Montclair, CA • Bus stop#7258, Ramona Ave. at Orchard St., northbound, near side, Montclair, CA • Bus stop#6836, W State St. at New York St., eastbound, far side, Redlands, CA • Bus stop#5925, Holt Blvd. between Central Ave. and Monte Vista Ave, westbound, Montclair, CA • Bus stop#5104, W San Bernardino Ave. at N Wildrose Ave., eastbound, far side, Colton, CA • Bus stop#7468, Central Ave. at Arrow Hwy., northbound, far side, Montclair, CA • Bus stop#7342, Ramona Ave. at Howard St., southbound, far side, Montclair, CA • Bus stop#7780, Ramona Ave. at Kingsley St., northbound, far side, Montclair, CA 2/3 Attach Pictures, 1RedlandsAndersonWB.png 745.1KB Documents 2SBMonteVistaWB.png 1.25MB 3HoltMonteVistaMid.png 1.11 MB 4RamonaOrchardNB.png 1.09MB 5StateNewYorkEB.png 1.08MB 6HoltCentralphotoW B.png 1.29MB 7SBWildroseEB.png 668.57KB 8CentralArrowHighwayNB.png 1.25MB 9RamonaHowardSB.png 1.09MB 10RamonaKingsleyNB1.png 969.45KB 10 Ramona Kings leyNB2.png 1.07MB Application2Summary.xlsx 11.24KB BackupApplication2.pdf 739.85KB MontclairSupportLetter.pdf 313.19KB Location bus stops 6904, 6435, 5802, 7258, 6836, 5925, 5104, 7468, 7342, and 7780 Priority Number: (If 2 agency submits Note that up to 10 stops can be combined into one submittal. multiple projects) Daily Buses 260 Daily Boarding & 32.6 Alighting Agency Owns ROW W Yes r No ROW Easement r Yes Required w No Cost Effectiveness Project Cost(K): 19.26 Matching Funds (K): 0 TDA Project Funds 19.26 Requested (K): Matching Source: N/A Previous Awards & Status 3/3 Project Evaluation Criteria Overall Quality of Application: 15 pts Project Need and Purpose: 40 pts Cost Effectiveness: 15 pts Timeliness of Prior Project Completion: 10 pts Matching Funds: 20 pts have read the rJ (1)the total award amount will be rescinded if the agency fails to submit a Claim guidelines and Form and Authorizing Resolution within SIX months of award notification, and understand:* have read the (2)two one-year extensions may only be granted without SBCTA Board approval guidelines and IF: (a) progress has been made on the project, and (b) an extension request understand:* including an appropriate justification for the delay and a revised project completion date is provided THREE MONTHS BEFORE the project sunset date. : _ e : ram.
