Photo 3 – Another short segment of paved sidewalk continues north of the gap. Note the motor home blocking through travel and the uneven surface of the first gap segment. Photo 4 – The paved portion ends again abruptly, forcing pedestrians to navigate around trees and bushes to continue north on Cypress. Photo 6 – At some points, it is virtually impossible to continue through pedestrian travel, even for those without mobility issues. In addition, during rainy weather, walking on the side of Cypress becomes even more difficult. Photo 7 – At the far north end of the sidewalk gap, pedestrians must either walk in the dirt or on the property owners grass. Photo 9 – Continued passage north on Cypress connects students to AB Miller High School and Wayne Ruble Middle School. Photo 10 – Continued passage south on Cypress connects pedestrians to the Omnitrans Route 82 and Kathy Binks Elementary. Photo 3 – During inclement weather, pedestrian passageway is particularly difficult, as unpaved areas become muddy or pooled with water. Photo 10 – The segment is routinely blocked by numerous vehicles, forcing pedestrians into the roadway, which is also a primarily vehicular traffic route for the nearby elementary, middle and high schools.
