Purpose 1)Redlands; CITRUS @ JUDSON WB; Route 19; Ridership 11;33 Daily Buses; 13'
non-ad shelter: $13,000
•The proposed shelter would create a more comfortable waiting experience for
customer while also protecting the rain and heat. During public outreach associated
with the FY 2025 Service Plan, Omnitrans received feedback from the community
regarding desired changes in service.Overall,68%of the comments that were
received supported additional amenities at bus stops, primarily lighting and shelters.
This stop will serve local residents,and there have been requests for added
amenities, particularly after the City improved the stop under 2021 Article 3 funding.
Route 19 which serves this stop links riders to Yucaipa,downtown Redlands,
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center,the VA hospital,and the Fontana Metrolink.
2)Redlands; LUGONIA @ UNIVERSITY EB; Route 8; Ridership 7; 19 Daily Buses;
Bench:$1,000
•The proposed bench would create a more comfortable waiting experience for
customers. During public outreach associated with the FY 2025 Service Plan,
Omnitrans received feedback from the community regarding desired changes in
service.Overall,68%of the comments that were received supported additional
amenities at bus stops.This stop will serve local residents as well as students at
University of Redlands. Route 8 serving this stop provides riders with access to
Yucaipa,downtown Redlands as well as Arrow service,and downtown San
Bernardino.
3)Redlands; Orange @ Brockton NB; Route 8&15; Ridership 11; 50 Daily Buses;
Bench:$1,000
•The proposed bench would create a more comfortable waiting experience for
customers. During public outreach associated with the FY 2025 Service Plan,
Omnitrans received feedback from the community regarding desired changes in
service.Overall,68%of the comments that were received supported additional
amenities at bus stops.This stop will serve local residents and connect riders with
local businesses. Route 8 serving this stop provides riders with access to Yucaipa,
downtown Redlands,and downtown San Bernardino while Route 15 provides
access to Highland,downtown San Bernardino and the Fontana Metrolink.
4)Redlands; BROOKSIDE @ GRANT EB; Route 19; Ridership 3;32 Daily Buses;
Bench:$1,000
•The proposed bench would create a more comfortable waiting experience for
customers. During public outreach associated with the FY 2025 Service Plan,
Omnitrans received feedback from the community regarding desired changes in
service.Overall,68%of the comments that were received supported additional
amenities at bus stops.This stop will serve local residents and provide access to
local business, healthcare facilities,the nearby Joslyn Senior Center,and Redlands
Bowl.
