Funding for this project was awarded in October2017 in the amount of $250,000 with a total project cost of $503,036. SBCTA concurs with the request for the scope change calling for the following:  Elimination of the segment on Alder Avenue between Mesa Road and Shamrock Avenue.  Adding 235 foot segment on north side of Miller Ave west of Laurel Avenue. As a friendly reminder, the TDA Article 3 grant award is paid through a reimbursement process upon completion of the project. It is required that a TDA claim form and supporting documentation of project completion are submitted to SBCTA prior to disbursement of funds to the City of Fontana. The TDA Article 3 grant award is for a maximum reimbursable amount. Should your project exceed the maximum reimbursable amount, SBCTA will not provide any additional reimbursement. For projects completed under the awarded amount, SBCTA will reimburse your agency for the TDA Article 3 share of the project using the match percentage identified in your grant application. Lastly, t he receipt of TDA Article 3 funds requires an independent audit of the project. When your project is complete please contact Vanessa Schoenwald, Transportation Programming Analyst, at SBCTA for the TDA Claim Form and filing instructions.
