RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA,
ACCEPTING THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA),
ARTICLE 3 GRANT FUNDS FOR TRANSIT STOP ACCESS PROGRAM
AND BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Board of
Directors approved funding from the Transportation Development Act (TDA), Article 3
Transit Stop Access Program and Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Program for the City
of Fontana; and
WHEREAS, SBCTA established grant procedures require the application to
certify by resolution the approval, authorization, and acceptance of the grant before
acceptance of said grant; and
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Fontana that;
Section 1: Authorize acceptance of the grant, and
Section 2: Authorize the filing of the claim form and the submission of
reimbursement requests; and
Section 3: Delegates the authority to the Director of Engineering or Designee to
conduct all negotiations, sign and submit all documents, including, but not limited
to agreements, amendments, certify action authorizing the filing of the final claim,
verifying project completion, and payment requests which may be necessary for
the completion of the project.
