On July 10, 2013, the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) Board of Directors approved grant awards from the Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 Transit Stop Access Program. The Redlands Bus Stop Improvements project was awarded $34,950 with a project completion date of June 30, 2016. Due to the unforeseen circumstance of Omnitrans revising their service plan, SANBAG concurs with the request to refine the scope of work to include implementing bus stop improvements at the following locations:  Eastbound/Westbound Redlands Boulevard at Iowa Street  Eastbound Barton Road at Terracina Boulevard  Westbound Brookside Avenue at Eureka Street  Eastbound/Westbound Brookside Avenue at Center Street  Eastbound/Westbound Brookside Avenue at Ash Street  Westbound Brookside Avenue at Price Street  Eastbound Brookside Avenue at Hastings Street  Eastbound San Bernardino Avenue at Texas Street  Eastbound Lugonia Avenue at Indiana Court  Northbound/Southbound Orange Street at Pioneer Avenue  Northbound/Southbound Orange Street at San Bernardino Avenue SANBAG appreciates the city’s efforts in coordinating with Omnitrans to identify locations to shift Transit Stop Access funding to so that access to existing/reconfigured bus routes is improved. The original grant award amount of $34,950 remains consistent with the scope refinement. To provide the City some additional time to complete the improvements, the project completion date will also be extended to June 30, 2017. As a friendly reminder, the TDA Article 3 grant award is paid through a reimbursement process upon completion of the project. It is required that a TDA claim form and supporting documentation of project completion are submitted to SANBAG prior to disbursement of funds to the City of Redlands. The TDA Article 3 grant award is for a maximum reimbursable amount. Should your project exceed the maximum reimbursable amount, SANBAG will not provide any additional reimbursement. For projects completed under the awarded amount, SANBAG will reimburse your agency for the TDA Article 3 share of the project using the match percentage identified in your grant application. Lastly, t he receipt of TDA Article 3 funds requires an independent audit of the project.
