This particular stop on OmniGo Route 309 was placed on Omnitrans' priority list in 2011 for ADA access improvements at bus stops. The implernentar;on of omniGo has resulted in a cost savings for Omnitrans by providing a fixed route circulator as an alternative to ADA paratransit service in an area that is difficult to serve with 40' vehicles. Thus, it is very important to Omnitrans to ensure ADA accessibility at stops along OmniGo routes Retrofitting bus stops for ADA accessibility throughout our service area is an important part of our annual program. If the City of Yucaipa is awarded this grant, Omnitrans will provide 20% match funding to the Cite through a pass-through agreement, from our annual 1% set-aside of PTA 5307 funding for Associated"i ransit I-nprovementF (formerly known as Transit Enhancements). Omnitrans looks forward to partnering with the City of Yucaipa on this project. it will provide much- needed accessibility improvements for our passengers.
