When I last spoke with Nancy (who now oversees the Transit awards but has been out of the office; she should be back tomorrow), the 2015 & 2017 transit awards had not yet been extended
or resolved. Hopefully, I’m wrong about that and that is no longer the case.
I do however know that we have reviewed and provided an explanation for the rejection of 3 invoices relating to the expired (though completed) 2011 award for G Street & Rialto Ave. Attached
are my comments on the most recent invoice submitted. We won’t be able to keep this award open for too much longer so hopefully we can get it resolved as soon as possible.

I should probably warn you though, the City of San Bernardino has 3 expired TDA Article 3 awards that have yet to be successfully invoiced. This will likely reduce the City’s changes
of being awarded additional funding. Please let me know if you need assistance wrapping these up. I’d be happy to forward communications specifying why past invoices were rejected and
what needs to be done to rectify them.

You can apply for any amount. Here’s what it says about that in the TDA Article 3 Guidelines, “The minimum cash match for this grant program is 10%. No award of Article 3 Bicycle and
Pedestrian funds will be for more than 90% of the total project cost. However, overmatching is encouraged and provides additional application points. There is no maximum amount that
is available per project request; however, in the event that a project cannot be fully funded, SBCTA may recommend partial funding for award if the agency is able to fund the balance
of the project scope as rated.”
